(N58) 2 October 2013 - PRESS CONFERENCE NOTICE
The following notification(verbatim) was issued by the GLA (on behalf of Bromley Council, I was told) - I was also told that pleas for being a local website editor (this website) didn't quite qualify me as media - surprise! All this secrecy.... wander what the protagonosts are afraid of. I thought telling the people was in fashion these days - evidently not. In any case, we can't really be annoyed about anything until we know what it is; and that we'll surely find out soon enough. Do you detect a slightly weary tone - I do (really) hope we're not going into another multiplex-like battle ground. PS Why is an "Operational Notice" not a "Press Notice"? - sounds like a term used in the army.
