- letter to Daily Telegraph 16th November 1999
SIR - English Heritage "constantly urges" local authorities "to take their local parks seriously", according to its chairman Sir Jocelyn Stevens (letter, Nov. 15).
Why, then, did English Heritage decide to lend its support to Bromley council's monstrously frivolous proposal, approved in the High Court (where the judges quoted English Heritage to underpin their finding in favour of Bromley), to build a multiplex cinema in Crystal Palace park?
